jdm wrx limited to 160km/hr?

i am importing a japanes 95 wrx, i was amazed the the speedometer went only to 160kmhr, i have a turbo legacy and that little car will 200km/hr. then i found out the japanese cars are speedo limited. how do i get around that? un plug the speedo? apparntly there is somthing i can do to turn it into mph. any ideas what parts would be needed, and where i would locate them? thanks
